Value vs. Price............What to look for.

Have you ever wondered why some photographers charge more for their portraits than others? Is there a difference? Some studios pride themselves on “low Prices.” Because price seems easy to compare. What isn’t as easy to compare is what you get for your money. 

Because no two photographers are the same, the quality of the finished product is determined by many factors; the posing, backgrounds, lighting, your expression, even how you were treated by the staff, was it a fun experience, and do you receive quality portraits that you absolutely love and are proud to display?

At Distinctive Images, we find that VALUE IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRICE. Because price just indicates how much you paid, but value says that you got a great deal for what you paid. So it’s easy to see how you could actually pay too much for “cheap portraits.” 

Isn’t it wiser to invest more in portraits that you love, than to pay less for portraits you don’t?
