Mike a native of Wales, was born and raised near Cardiff, the Capital of Wales.  Upon leaving school he enlisted in the Royal Navy and learned his photographic craft at the Joint Services School of Photography at RAF Cosford, England.   After 15 years with the Royal Navy, he moved to the USA in 1976.  

Mike and his wife Teent opened Distinctive Images photography in 1996.  With almost 40 years of experience in photography, ranging from portraiture to commercial work, public relations to photographing members of the British Royal Family, Mike has honed his photography skills to a level of excellence sure to please the most demanding client.
